Our Policies
The policies listed below are in place to ensure that all of our guests receive the most hospitable and efficient service that we are can provide.
Maypop is a reservation driven restaurant and they are certainly recommended but not required. We are happy to welcome walk-in guests and will accommodate whenever possible.
Our full menu is available for guests seated at the bar; due to the complexity of our cuisine, we are unable to serve food to those waiting for a seat or during "standing-room only" business volumes.
The largest group we can accommodate for a regular (non-private) reservation at one table is 12 guests, this policy is in place due to the size of our dining room and the complexity our menu and the service it demands to execute.
Parties larger than 12 guests must be booked with our event coordinator to ensure the best possible food quality and continuity of service.
We cannot guarantee seats for extra guests above the original reservation size.
Parties larger than 6 will be required to give a credit card number with their reservation. We have a cancellation fee of $25 per person if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the reservation or if the party does not arrive for their reservation.
Parties of 6 or more must be complete before they will be sat.
We hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If running late, please let us know and we will do our best to hold the table. During events like Saints Games or Mardi Gras, downtown traffic and parking can become quite challenging and cause significant delays in transit time.
We gladly welcome diners of all ages and offer personalized dishes for every young palate, please ask your server.
When dining with us, please be considerate of our other guests. We do not allow loud or distracting electronic media such as music or loud video playback in the dining room.
We have a corkage fee of $25 per bottle.
We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated or belligerent guests.
Maypop has a Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy. Please treat our staff with respect so that we can serve you with courtesy and kindness.
Thank you for taking the time to read over our policies.
